Last updated: October 2026

Anomyst respects the privacy of its visitors. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use this website, why it may be processed, and which third-party services we use.

Anomyst is an independent website focused on mysteries, unexplained phenomena, history, archaeology, space, and related subjects.

The content on this website is published under the pseudonym Aron Corvin, who is the author and editor of Anomyst.

Personal Information

Anomyst does not require user accounts or registration, and you do not need to provide personal information to read the content on this website.

We do not sell, rent, or trade visitors' personal information.

If you contact us using the available email address, any information you voluntarily provide may be used to respond to your message and for communication related to your inquiry.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Anomyst uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor basic website performance and understand how the site loads under real-world conditions.

Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a small JavaScript beacon and information available through the browser Performance API to measure website performance and user experience.

According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not use cookies for its analytics, does not use localStorage or sessionStorage, and does not collect or use personal information for Web Analytics.

We use this information to monitor the technical performance of the website and improve how it works.

Anomyst uses Google AdSense to display advertisements.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other technologies or identifiers in connection with displaying and measuring advertisements.

These technologies may be used to display ads, measure their effectiveness, and, where applicable, provide more relevant advertising.

The way advertisements are displayed may depend on factors such as your settings, browser, location, and other circumstances, as well as applicable privacy and consent requirements.

Embedded YouTube Videos

Articles may contain embedded YouTube videos. Before playback, only the thumbnail is shown, and it loads from Google's domain i.ytimg.com, while the player itself loads only after the visitor starts it by clicking.

Cookies

Anomyst does not use its own cookies for user accounts, login, tracking visitors across the website, or creating user profiles.

Google AdSense may, however, use cookies and similar technologies in connection with advertising.

More information about cookies and similar technologies is available on our separate Cookie Policy page.

Technical Information

When you visit the website, certain technical information may be processed as part of services used to deliver, secure, analyze, and support the website and its advertising.

Depending on the service and circumstances, this may include information such as an IP address, device and browser type, requests made to the server, page-loading information, or information associated with the delivery of advertisements.

Anomyst does not use this information to create its own visitor profiles and does not sell it to third parties.

External Websites

Articles on Anomyst may contain links to other websites.

When you leave Anomyst and visit an external website, that website's own privacy policy and data practices apply.

Anomyst is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of external websites.

Your Rights

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information, as well as the right to object to certain types of processing.

Because Anomyst does not maintain user accounts or its own database of visitor information, the ability to exercise certain rights may depend on whether we actually control or process the information in question.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the website, the services we use, or applicable requirements.

The date of the latest update will always be shown at the top of this page.
